Have you ever lost someone or something that you loved so much?
My grandfather died almost 7 years ago and I have this hole in my life still to this day. Everyone said that "time heals all" & "it will get easier"...."He's in a better place."
I think that is all total and complete BS.
He raised me.
&
He was my best friend.
Some days are easier than others. I can go a very long time without breaking down and sobbing.

Tonight the pain is so raw. I can't seem to grab hold of myself.

I understand that emotion you have. Losing my mother [ She was 55 when murdered by a 16 year old boy] , was very difficult for me too.
Made worse by having, to have the funeral for her on Thanksgiving Day. OMG, What a horrific day !!! Church member's all bringing the pre-made holiday treat's from their own table's to me. The generosity of the neighbor's and the death, was totally CRUSHING for me to process very well.

   Ironic isn't it..... I always fall apart emotionally, and paint a smile on my face to see my Uncle and Aunt on that day for lunch only to be reminded, that I'm an Orphan and know nobody but them at family gathering's. For such a social person like myself to have absolute nothing to say to my extend family is very heartbreaking too. No new's from my side of the family, and nothing to look forward too. Thanksgiving is a day I just want to crawl into a hole and die.
My mother was my only true blood relation I had. My Aunt and Uncle live near me, but do you ever get to know someone who you see twice a year for an hour?

I prefer to avoid family member's during Thanksgiving Day, but always accept the invitation.
   Then paint on a smile and lie to everyone, long enough to choke down some food, and run away as quickly as I can find an excuse.

What a terrible way.
At least Pop was a ripe old age of 85(which didn't make it any easier), but maybe a little bc it was his body that ran out on him.
What became of the little shit that took your mother's life?

It is very hard to talk about a true tragedy.
Your Grand Father lived to 85 and you have the Memories. You are Blessed.

My mother Died early to be sure but she also had a good life of world-wide travel and really a perfect Bimbo's life, from my perspective.
   I grieve, but as a religious person. There is no end to the spirit of an individual.

Her murderer, is suffering GREATLY in this world. So bad I didn't have the heart to sue him and his parent's.

My Mother was Killed by a 'Video Gamer'. A child who 1 day after he got his licence decided to race down a mountain hill on a two way road at 85MPH [appox 145kph] drifting around all the blind corner's and no passing lane's on a mountain pass. A policeman was actually behind my mother at the time of her death and was the witness to the murder and this was in the report my mother was going 65. The crash was so bad, it instantly push my mother car into the policeman following her at 65 MPH. It was very BAD. The truck didn't stop rolling end over end for 300 yard's.

Driving like that, is NO accident, according to the 50 other people who wrote witness statement's to his behavior passing them in the past 80 mile's before the crash. He was all over the road and not drunk, just 'stunting and racing'. His parent's are currently paying the ultimate price, for giving a child a 4X4 truck. I pity them more than myself, after all these year's. The driver at 16 year's old is a quadriplegic.
   While removing my mother's head his truck literally used my mother's car as a ramp and the front left wheel of his truck entered the passenger compartment crushing his man part's and pelvis to mush. His life is over for all intent's and purposes. However, his 12 year old brother was another innocent victim of his behavior. Now unable to walk because of his brother's "Need for Speed". Life is over as the fully capable child he was before his brother made a very poor decision for him.
Now guess who has children for LIFE. The Parents with medical bill's for life, and no hope of ever having a normal family ever again. The formerly very wealthy family is no more. Nobody profited by this experience except the Medical institutions. Even the State decided to not press charge's because they didn't want to assume the Medical Bill's for Life in prison for a quadriplegic boy.
So it is rather hard for me to not feel that justice has been a bit OVER-SERVED but I am glad to know that the child will never be able to breed by his own choice. I like Darwin, and his theory's concerning natural selection. One more stupid male-child once again didn't survive childhood due to very poor parenting. The mother of that boy deserves every tear she has to look forward too. No grand children in her future. Not much of anything for her off-spring at all but daily reminder's of Thanksgiving Day, too.
Routine diaper changes on your adult child..... for life.... That is Hell, I'm sure.

Yet, losing my mother was bad too, but nothing like some very 'bad' parent's are suffering now for giving a little boy a driving game for Christmas.
Then Truck key's at 16. Yet no discipline at home, nor respect for law's in public.
Just Something to think about for all parent's, current and future. You will eventually pay the price for having sex and lazy parenting with video game's and this more intensely more applicable with 'Cell Phone Driver's' TODAY. If a video game can do this to a boy before the invention of cell phone's imagine what driving is like with them? I don't need to imagine it..... I see the messes left behind after the police and ambulances leave.
Better teach your children well or pay an un-Godly price.

Justice was Applied directly to the responsible people, The parent's of the boy's. Life with permanent regret.
God can be so wickedly 'fair' sometime's to me I almost regret it. The 12 year old's life that was destroyed before it began, is who I cry and beg for mercy for.
