We can all see that the only way to gain B$ at the moment is to buy them, but it does say that half of the money goes to charity. I don't see any more information than that and not even a registered charity number. So I'm asking if anyone knows anything about this to see if it is a real charity or just something made up to make us feel better about buying as I am curious to find out more. I would probably consider buying if I knew what real charity it was.

In order to be defined as a charity and register for a charity number, the organisation will have to be established for charitable purposes only. As I'm sure you are aware Bimboland and Bligthy are not established for only charitable purposes. Only 50% of the income from Bimbolands will go to charity, the rest will go to Blighty. As a limited company Blighty can still donate money to charity and they can also recieve a tax deduction based on how much money they donate.
From what I gather everytime you spend real money on the site half goes to Blighty, the other half goes into the treasury and when it comes time to donate the citizens of Bimboland then get to choose and vote for the charity they want the money to go to.

I just don't understand why they would put down that they donate half to charity when they have nothing to backup that fact, if it does just go into the treasury then why not say that? It seems wrong for them to put down something that could possibly be a lie.

Actually my mother used to own a charity. If your charity is worth under £5000 from what I remember at least at that time you could still be a charity with the same benefits, although they won't give you a charity number which is not a good thing and generally causes suspicion amongst the public.
You could say right now that you're going to give £5 to charity right this instant and you have nothing to back that up. Bimbolands itself is not a charity and as far as I know not a registered charity fundraiser. If SweetAsNuts ever makes a reappearance maybe you can put it to him to make the site a registered fundraiser site. So, for now we can just wait and see if he does donate the money and where he donates it to.

Yes that's right - the Prime Bimbo will decide where to give the money raised by the bimbo community - the amount shown in the treasury (top right corner).
So at the end of the 4 month term all money in the treasury will be given to a humanitarian cause of the Prime Bimbos choice. The treasury balance currently stands at $155 meaning the Prime Bimbo (me for now) will give that money out on 1st June. I intend to give that to charities for families of the victims of the 2004 tsunami.
The treasury will then start at zero agan and the next Prime Bmbo will decide what to do with that money during their term.

If you independently choose to register and spend your time on a Bimbo roleplay site AND THEN subsequently claim to be morally outraged about some of the roleplay content in Bimboland then we should be very suspicious of your opinion and motivations.

I do like the idea of the site being put forward as a fund raising site, but wouldn't it be better if we all had a say on where the money went as we are the people raising it? The prime-bimbo could voice his/her ideas toward 3-4 charities before giving us all the option to vote for the one we think is most deserving.
I think it would bring forward a proud community rather than the confused and frustrated one we currently have.
